Viet Nam Germany Steel Pipe (VG PIPE) was established in 25 DEC, 2002 with the area of 8.2 ha in Binh Xuyen Industrial Zone, Vinh Phuc Province.

On July, 2008, VGPIPE was on stream with the most advance equipments from Germany and U.S with the annual capacity of 200,000 metric tons. At the same year, Det Norske Veritas issued the certificate of ISO 9001:2000 for VGPIPE.

In 2007, VGPIPE held the whole country market share of about 15 percent.
